HISTORY TIMELINE

    2016

    Founded in Kidlington, Oxfordshire in 2016 by Paul Cox and Chris Cope, OX IT Solutions was built on a simple principle: delivering reliable, expert IT services with a personal approach. Starting as a specialist provider of network infrastructure and IT support, the business quickly established a reputation for helping organisations across the education, public sector and commercial markets get the most from their technology.

    2019

    As the company grew, so did its commitment to making a positive impact beyond IT. In 2019, OX IT began supporting Circus Starr, helping provide memorable experiences for disabled, vulnerable and disadvantaged children and their families across the UK.

    2020

    During the challenges of 2020, OX IT helped customers adapt to new ways of working, delivering secure remote access, cloud services and cyber security solutions that enabled organisations to remain connected and productive.

    2022

    The business continued to strengthen in 2022 with the appointment of Paul Streeter as Director, bringing more than two decades of IT industry experience to the leadership team. This was followed by significant investment in systems and processes in 2023, ensuring OX IT was well positioned for future growth and an expanding customer base.

    2024

    Recognition from industry-leading vendors soon followed. In 2024, OX IT achieved Acronis Platinum Partner status, reflecting its expertise in cyber protection, disaster recovery and business continuity.

    In 2026, the company was named ESET Growth Partner of the Year, highlighting its success in delivering advanced cyber security solutions and building strong strategic partnerships.

Today, OX IT supports organisations across the UK with managed IT services, cybersecurity, cloud, backup and infrastructure solutions. As the business celebrates its tenth year, its commitment remains unchanged: delivering trusted technology solutions while continuing to support the communities and charities that make a difference, including Paul Cox and Jon Townsend's 2026 Kilimanjaro challenge in aid of Helen & Douglas House.
